SATIN WHITE AND RAW CLAY JUG
Diameter 10cm - Height 13cm
Stoneware jug glazed in satin white over raw clay. The glaze is poured and layered to form this beautiful petal like pattern. Leaving some of the clay raw allows it to ‘toast’ where the glaze reacts with the iron in the clay. You see this as a darker edge.
All my ceramics are unique and individual, hand thrown and kiln fired by me in my South London garden pottery studio. My work is dishwasher safe but I advise washing hand thrown ceramics by hand. Also food safe unless otherwise marked.
